Events Coming Up At FBCO

Just to let you know so you can be involved....

1.  This Saturday -- Community Work Day at Carterville Cemetery.  We will MEET AT THE CEMETERY which is north of Carterville AT 7:00am.  We will be helping with grounds work and resetting tomb stones--- all age groups are welcome to join us.

2.  This Friday and Saturday we have a group of missionaries headed to Oklahoma City to minister in the prisons.  Be in prayer for their travel safety, pray for a great boldness in witness and preaching; pray for a
great harvest.

3.  On Thursday evenings there is a Women's Study that meets at 7pm.  The Study is "Raw Faith" -- Come and see that God is always faithful, even when our circumstances might tempt us to believe otherwise.

4.  Each Saturday morning a group of men gather for a Bible study at 7am. We are currently in the book of 1 Kings.  This week we will be working at the Carterville Cemetery -- but next week we will pick it up in Ch.17.

5.  Sunday Oct.4th --- The Joplin Life Chain from 2 - 3:30pm.  If you would like to participate you must fill out a registration form and return it to me no later than THIS SUNDAY Sept. 27th!

6.  The Adult Choir has begun practicing for Christmas --- come and join us each Sunday at 4:45pm as we work on making a 'joy-filled' noise!
